I have done a bit of research, and what I discovered is that you can purchase a reasonably decent machine for around $100.
Obviously, these cheaper coffee makers don’t come with all of the bells, and whistles often found on the more expensive machines.

Best Coffee Makers For Under $100 (Give Or Take)
I have broken down my budget finds into four sections – Automatic coffee makers, coffee makers with a grinder built-in (grind & brew), single-serve coffee brewers, and finally, manual coffee brewing, so finding your preferred coffee brewing methods should be easy peasy.
Type: Auto-Drip Coffee Brewers
By far the most common and preferred method of brewing coffee at home. Automatic coffee makers range from under $50 all the way up to $1000+ machines.
However, I have done the hard work for you, and I’ve handpicked a few of my favorite coffee makers that fall under $100.
BUNN CSB1B Speed Brew Select Coffee Maker
BUNN coffee makers are among my favorite brands of brewers, and the quality and durability are second to none – they’re built to last. That’s probably why hotel chains and restaurants choose BUNN machines over other brands.
This particular machine (the BUNN CSB1B) is an excellent buy for anyone on a budget. It can effortlessly churn hot piping hot coffee in less than half the time of other popular home coffee makers. The BUNN CSB1B features a unique spray head system that allows for a more even extraction.

In this price range, you really cannot beat the features that Cuisinart offers. Some of the standout features include brew-strength control, 24-hour programmability (nothing beats walking down the stairs in the morning to freshly brewed coffee), self-cleaning function, and the brew-pause function, to name just a few.
And let me not forget the builtin gold-tone reusable coffee filter and charcoal water filter.

The Bonsenkitchen coffee maker is a bargain hunter’s dream find. It’s priced well under $100, leaving you enough change to grab a few boxes of coffee pods to go with it.
For a coffee maker with a cheap price tag, the Bonsenkitchen doesn’t disappoint in the features department and comes loaded with what you would expect.
Such as simple programmability, quick touch programming, a permanent filter for ground coffee, and an adjustable or removable drip tray that accommodates regular coffee cups or travel mugs up to 7.0 inches tall.

Cuisinart does an excellent budget-friendly coffee maker with a built-in grinder which is the next model up from thier primary drip brewer machine I mentioned above.
Cuisinart DGB-550BK Grind & Brew Automatic Coffee Maker
The Cuisinart DGB-550BK Grind-and-Brew automatic coffee maker is a bargain for under one hundred bucks! Cuisinart has cornered this end of the market for coffee makers with a built-in grinder (even more so in this price range).
If you love coffee, there’s nothing better than coffee brewed with freshly ground coffee beans.
Some of the functions and features found on the Cuisinart DGB-550BK include a brew-pause feature, 24-hour advanced programmability, auto shutoff from 0 to 4 hours, a charcoal water filter that removes impurities, and a gold-tone reusable filter that helps to unlock the flavor from your freshly ground beans.

A new machine I discovered for 2019 is the Gourmia GCM4850, and for anyone on a $100 budget, this is a great contender and comes with features and functions often reserved for the more expensive coffee brewers.
What caught my eye was the built-in Burr coffee grinder that churns out a consistently-sized uniform ground and also comes with 18 grind settings.
The touchscreen is also a nice feature, and everything can be controlled via a few simple touches on the screen.

Type: Single Cup Coffee Makers
Single-serve coffee makers, or 1-cup brewers, as they’re sometimes referred to, are an excellent option for those of you who have hectic busy lifestyles, such as office workers or even cash-strapped college students.
As the name implies, these coffee makers typically brew just 1-cup of coffee at a time with little to no maintenance or upkeep compared to other more expensive hands-on coffee makers.
Many of the best single-cup coffee makers use a pod system to deliver the coffee to your cup. Even though the coffee pods allow you to make your coffee effortlessly, they can often be costly if you drink a lot of coffee.
Finding a coffee maker under $100 in the single-cup brewer category is easy, as there are many to choose from. However, there are two that I can say are worth your money.
Keurig K-Mini K15 Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker
The Keurig K-Mini K15 Single-Serve Coffee Maker is the best of the bunch if you’re shopping around for a coffee maker for one.
This particular machine uses K-Cup pods, and you can choose a range of different coffees from over 500 popular brands.
For under $100, I don’t think you’ll find a better 1-cup coffee maker.

Mr. Coffee BVMC-SC100-2 Single-Serve Maker
Another great option, often priced in the ballpark region of $50, is the Mr. Coffee BVMC-SC100-2 Single Serve Coffee Brewer. This single cup coffee maker uses coffee pods
(the Keurig K-Cup packs, which are readily available) and also freshly ground coffee. This makes Mr. Coffee far more versatile than the Keurig.

I have just started using this new “copper” gold-colored French press in 2019 after receiving it as a gift this Christmas. The gold color definitely makes it stand out from the other French Press brewers I own.
